Description
Transactional Analysis works from three basic concepts. Here is my very brief interpretation:

(1) I'm OK and You're OK. In other words, both therapist and client(s) are of great value and have a shared responsibility in the work. The therapist is not "more ok" than the client. The Therapist does not rescue and the Client is not seen as a victim.

(2) Everyone in the room can think - ie take responsibility and be autonomous.

(3) Everyone in the room can change - ie make decisions to experiment, or to do things in a new way. We do not have to be held in the grip of "the past".

Depression, mild or clinical (using anti-depressants)
Post natal depression

Anxiety and fear
Difficulties with relationships at work, redundancy
Childhood issues
Bereavement, grief & loss
Sexuality & gender issues
Sexual behaviours - compulsive use of internet or sexual activities
Substance use
Difficulty in couple relationships (opposite or same-sex genders)
Low confidence - not feeling good about oneself
