AURA HEALING

There are believed to be a number of auras, or energy layers, that surround the physical body and can be detected or appreciated.

The 1st layer; the etheric body, is the most dense and is connected with the body and the way it works.

2nd; the astral body, is much wider, is affected by peoples felings and, if viewed by a clairvoyant, is said to change colour and shape depending on the feeling being expressed.

3rd; the mental body, which is involved with the thought processes and intellegence of the person. Similarily, this can be viewed by a clairvoyant and is said to contain 'pictures' of ideas emanating from the person.

These 3 auras comprise of the personality of the person.

The last aura is known as the casual body, soul or higher self. This is concerned more perceptive feelings and comprehension.

Many healers believe that as well as a physical body, we all possess a psychic body that extends beyond our corprol form. This is believed to be a force field of spiritual energy that surrounds all living things and connects individuals through a universal source.

The aura, as this force field is called, is thought to comprise all the radiations from the actions and interactions of the cells and chemicals in the body, and therefore reflects the state of health of the individual. If the body is suffering from illness, the radiations from the affected organ will be weak, and subsequently dull patches in the aura are perceived.

The aura can stretch up to several metres from the body, or merely several centimetres, and consists of bands of different coloured light, all the colours of the spectrum as well as black, white and grey. Each person's aura is different in shape and colour and definition, and those who can perceive auras say that they can tell alot about an individuals character and mood as well as the state of his or her physical, emotional and spiritual health.

The colours and what each colour may signify ( although the positioning in relation to each other is very inportant as well);
