I am a fully qualified counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling offering individual short-term and long-term counselling. I have been counselling in a G.P. practice since May, 2003 and have experience of working with a wide range of clients bringing diverse issues including those already described.

I use a person-centred Integrative approach where the quality of the relationship between client and counsellor is central to the work. I aim to offer a warm, respectful and congruent relationship in the belief that feeling safe and understood are necessary conditions for working through your problems. I am committed to on-going professional development and frequently attend short courses to enhance my work. I am a member of BACP* and work within their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also an Intermediate member of CPC.*
