Description
Your therapist and founder of Effective Therapy is Robert Fogg. Robert is both a qualified CBT therapist and registered nurse. He is a member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Association of Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (AREBT).

Robert undertook his formal training at Kingston University and St Georges Medical School and holds a Diploma in Nursing (mental health branch). Robert's postgraduate training was at Goldsmiths College, University of London where he was awarded an MSC in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. Effective Therapy is located in Surbiton, Surrey where Robert has rooms. Home visits are also available if required at an additional  cost on standard rates. The majority of sessions are held on a Monday  between 9.30am and 6.30 pm, however some  evening and Saturday morning sessions are also available.

There are many forms of counselling and psychotherapy. Robert specializes in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. This action-orientated form of therapy utilizes both cognitive and behavioural aspects of how we think and behave as individuals. The approach promotes the client to become their own counsellor and to actively challenge their own thoughts and behaviour.
